The California
Knights of Columbus, Emilio B. Moure Museum Association, is in the development
stages of a new and exciting exhibit that is scheduled to open in 2022.
Blessed Michael J.
McGivney (1852-1890), a Catholic Priest of New Haven, Conn., and founder of the
Knights of Columbus, is being considered for sainthood in the Catholic Church.
Fr. McGivney, on Feb. 6, 1882, found the Knights of Columbus, a fraternal
benefit society based on the principles of unity and charity. The Knights of
Columbus, since our conception in 1882, have continued these principles
established by Fr. McGivney.
The museum will be
installing a life size bronze statue of Blessed Michael J. McGivney in front of
the museum building. This project also includes a brick walkway leading to the
statue.
We are offering
everyone an opportunity to be part of this historical event by buying an
inscribed brick(s), that will be used in the walkway. Personalized brick(s)can
be inscribed with a family name or in honor of someone.
Inscribed bricks make
Great gifts.
