The Memorial Garden is located at the Embrace Hospice
House in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Positioned in the middle of a beautifully
landscaped garden, there will be dedicated memorial bricks, which are purchased
by those wanting to recognize or forever remember their loved ones. The bricks
will be a permanent feature of the garden and each engraved brick comes with a
lifetime guarantee.
The Open Arms Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 funded by generous donations and
memorial gifts from gracious families and friends of our patients as well as
monetary support from local community groups and other individuals. Such
donations enable the foundation to provide philanthropic support and relief to
veterans and military members, hospice patients and families, and other
individuals in need within our local communities.
There are two bricks that can be purchased, both requiring a $125.00 donation to
the foundation. One brick (4"x8") is for patients who have passed on Embrace
Hospice services either at home or within the inpatient unit. This brick is IN
MEMORY OF that patient's name, then features the year of birth and year of
death. Our second brick option is a larger 6"x9" paver brick which is reserved
for those patients of ours who so bravely served one of our military branches in
their lifetime. These bricks feature four lines and also have the logo of that
branch of service inscribed on the left side, along with beginning and ending
years of service.
