Dear CLCC members,
We are very excited to let you know that the CLCC Board has approved a renovation plan for the clubhouse! We have heard your suggestions and now we are ready to embark on project that will make many of them a reality. Here are some of the highlights:
While we are keeping our costs down, there will certainly be costs. We have a new fundraising campaign through brick sales. All the profits from the sale of these bricks will used to fund materials needed for the renovation. Bricks sold through this campaign will be slightly different than the bricks we have sold in the past and all bricks sold for this campaign will be prominently placed together just outside the entrance to the downstairs bar. Even if you have purchased bricks in the past, these bricks will be different and the net proceeds will be used strictly for this renovation project. An order form with details regarding brick purchases can be found here. The size options for the bricks will be the same as previous. We will have 4 x 8 bricks for $100 and 12 x 12 bricks for $150. Even if you do not wish to purchase a brick, we still need your support and direct contributions are gladly accepted.
The brick sale fundraising campaign will run from December 1, 2023 – January 31, 2024. Our goal is to sell 100 bricks in this time period. We do not wish to pester you with an unceasing campaign. We also need an endpoint so we can access the level of financial support received versus the amount necessary to fund our desired improvements
As always, thanks for your support of the CLCC. Our goal is not only to improve our community space, but also to provide an opportunity whereby we can all work together and then enjoy the fruits of our labor. We hope you will join us in this quest.
