Farmhouse Animal & Nature Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm and exotic animal sanctuary. Animals come to the sanctuary for many different reasons including, neglect, abandonment, medically needy and simply because their families can no longer care for them. Why they came here isn’t as important as how they will live out the remainder of their lives, feeling safe and secure in as natural a habitat as possible. Our mission is to care for the animals to the best of our ability and to educate the public on animal care.

There are currently 140+ animals in our care including ones that are adoptable, waiting for their forever homes and ones that will live out their lives at the sanctuary. The cost to feed the animals alone is about $2100 per month.

Unfortunately, we were hit hard by hurricane Ian at the end of 2022 including losing 90% of our perimeter fence that helps to keep the animals safe. We are still not able to use two full pastures due to this. We continue to work on fence and building repairs all while caring for the animals. We are pleased to say that we have replaced all the downed fence along the front of property but there is still so much to do.
