Honoring Moms, Inc.,is offering the public an opportunity to honor mothers, while also beautifying McPherson Park and surrounding city parks. “Mom’s Park” is a special section of McPherson Park, located in Greenville, SC, that is dedicated to all the mothers and mother figures in our lives.
Volunteers worked in the summer heat to turn a rundown area of Greenville’s oldest park into a beautiful park to honor our moms. We installed 62 tons of rock to represent the strength moms bring to our lives. We planted 400 plants designed to attract butterflies and hummingbirds to represent the beauty and softness that moms bring to us. The lighted fountains represent the insights and wisdom that moms pour into our lives.
There is a limited opportunity to purchase a brick in honor of your mother for $250. We will install it in front of the basin with all the fountains pictured on this site. This is a wonderful gift idea or a permanent memorial in your mom's honor!
