CoHO, a 501(c)3
nonprofit in the state of Arkansas seeks to address homeless in Conway by
establishing Hope Village. Hope Village will be a mixed income community which
primarily serves homeless persons and families. We imagine the creation of a
community which affirms human dignity, offers quality housing, and provides a
foundation for homeless advocacy in the city of Conway.
We are raising money
to assist in the building of Hope Village. These bricks will be used to create
the walkways for each home. We appreciate your contribution to develop a quality
and unique living community for the homeless, veterans, and low-income persons
living in Arkansas.
We are asking for a
$100 donation for a 4x8 brick that you can have engraved with your personal
message. It will have space for three lines, eighteen characters per line. We
are also making donor certificates (a certificate that includes your brick
inscription) available for a donation of $10, donor bricks (a brick with felt
backing that has your inscription) for a donation of $30, and souvenir bricks (a
business card sized brick ˝ inch thick with felt backing that includes your
inscription) for $20.
Who:
CoHO
CoHO is raising funds
to build Hope Village, a small community of quality homes adjacent to our
existing property dedicated to helping address homelessness in the Conway, AR
community.
What/Where:
Hope Village
Hope Village will be
an extension of our Housing Initiative which began with our Hope Home, a
transitional home for men. This extension will include housing for families as
well as individuals from the homeless to the moderate-income bracket between the
CoHO Hope Home and the CoHO main offices.
Why:
Love
There is a need in
this city that necessitates championing the issue of homelessness in such a way
that shows compassion and care for humanity on a greater scale than previously
seen. It is CoHO’s imagination to lead by example in loving our neighbors with
more than words, but in actions as well.
