The Rotary Club of Jekyll Island, in partnership with the Jekyll Island Authority (JIA), is proud to announce a new memorial walkway located at the entrance to the Lost Buildings Trail by the 31•81 Lifestyle Shop in the Jekyll Island National Historic Landmark District. The walkway will be a sensual joy as it winds amongst our majestic oak trees. It will also leave a lasting legacy in one of the most historic locations on the island. With assistance from the JIA, the entrance section of the trail will be completed with “memorial pavers” which may be engraved for individuals or organizations you wish to honor.
100% of the proceeds from the sale of the pavers will be used by the Jekyll Island Rotary Club to fund the many projects and charities we support on Jekyll Island, throughout the Golden Isles, and around the world through Rotary International. You can add custom logos/engraving and pay by credit card, or with a tear-out form on the official memorial walkway brochure where you can pay by check. Just use the QR code (found on the brochure or on displays near the walkway) to learn more and purchase your pavers. The Jekyll Island Authority reserves the right to approve descriptions or logos prior to paver engraving or placement.
*Cost per paver including engraving and shipping will be $100; if you include a logo, the cost will be $105. The project will officially kick off in the Fall of 2024, but pavers may be purchased now, ensuring your pavers are among the first group to be installed. Please join the Rotary community in this fantastic new addition to Jekyll’s rich history. Help us in our mission in service to others through your participation in this great project. Most sincerely…
Your Jekyll Island Rotary Club
