Little Cypress-Mauriceville Education Foundation, Inc. is pleased to share “Legacy Park” with the Mauriceville and Little Cypress Communities. The park, envisioned by 1969 Alum, Dale Clark Carlton, is a place to honor “Bears of the Past, Present, and Future.” Personally engraved bricks pave pathways surrounding the bear among the trees on the grounds of the LCM CISD Administration Building. The trees were planted by E.A. Bates, Superintendent of Little Cypress Schools from 1939 to 1964. Proceeds from this project are used to fund grants to enhance education and student achievement throughout the LCM District. When you sponsor a brick, you are creating a lasting “legacy” of your support.
