The Rotary Club of
Monroe recently celebrated 100 years of leadership and service to our community
and the world. Help us mark the occasion with a project also designed to
beautify the community and provide an outdoor gathering place in the age of
social distancing. The Monroe Rotary Triangle Park Plaza will be located in the
corner of Triangle Park, home of the club’s annual Fourth of July Children’s
Parade, which attracts over 1,500 participants. This parade has been a tradition
of patriotism, food, fun and holiday excitement for multiple generations.
The plaza’s design is
representative of the Rotary logo. It will include six park benches and a
brick-paved plaza featuring engraved bricks. By purchasing a brick or bench, you
will be supporting local Rotary service projects such as youth sports and
sponsorships, education awards, community needs, and international projects,
such as promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water, education and
much more. Your purchase will also memorialize a name or business for future
generations visiting Triangle Park. For more information, visit
