60th Church Anniversary Commemorative Brick Donor Project

On July 15, 1962 Superintendent Harold Johnson, Sr. and wife, Mother Mary Johnson, along with approximately 25 other family members founded the Old Path Church of God in Christ. Our founders were great leaders and impacted many lives. They were community minded and implemented a feeding program for 20+ years. They provided educational scholarships to hundreds of youth, partnered with the city and county and did Welfare to Work programs, they served the homeless community, among many other things. Upon the transition of the founder, on October 6, 2005 Supt Harold Johnson II was appointed pastor of Old Path “Miracle Cathedral” Church of God in Christ, where he and First Lady Leisa Wynn Johnson have been serving since. The legacy continues and has expanded under their leadership with the Day of Giving which works with women’s shelters, community baby showers which provides resources for hundreds of new mothers, international support of missions in Brazil, and the free food giveaway as we continue to impact the community. This year we celebrate 60 years of ministry. And we are looking forward to doing even greater works as we continue to impact our community at large.
