Weddinton Optimsit Club

Weddington Optimist Club is initiating a "Legacy Brick Program" to provide improvements to Optimist Park. You can purchase bricks to raise funds for the improvements and will honor and recognize individuals, family members or local companies. Founded in 1980, the mission statement "Bringing Out The Best In Youth, Our Community and Ourselves" symbolizes the principles surrounding our park and the many sports activities associated with our sister organization the Wesley Chapel Weddington Athletic Association (WCWAA). The "Optimist Creed" provides the foundation of Optimist International and the many clubs nationwide.
