Petra Community Housing

Please join us as we strive to meet the challenge of affordable housing in our community.

Create a legacy by purchasing a brick for yourself or as a way to honor or remember a loved.

A brick walkway will be created at Steel Town Village under the porch of the community room.

All proceeds from the sale of bricks will be used to fund the STV Affordable Housing Rent Subsidy Program to help low income single parents and elderly people afford the established rents at STV.

A grant of $10,000 from the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation will be matched with the proceeds from the sale of bricks to raise a total of $20,000.

We anticipate being able to assist up to 8 families with a two year subsidy while they work to increase their earning power and become financially independent.

In addition to Petra's commitment to this program, funds are also needed to compensate Petra for the financial loss sustained from the fire
