The Purple Heart Integration Project (PHIP) will be the first of its kind in the nation. A residential occupational training facility for physically disabled veterans. Located in Georgetown, Texas. The veteran, along with their family, will be housed in ADA "green" homes to facilitate development of life skills to prepare them for independent living.
The Program will provide:
- Career & job skills training
- Recreational and swimming pool
- Physical rehabilitation facilities
- Social and community interaction
- Specifically adapted ADA compliant "Green" homes
- Garden and raised vegetable beds
