Memorial Garden

The first phase of the courtyard and brick garden has been completed. There was such a great response that we were able to complete the cross.  Bricks that are purchased going forward will be red in color and will be used to replace one or two of the current red bricks surrounding the cross.  If a 4 x 8 inch red brick is purchased, it will replace a single red brick that is currently located around the cross.  If an 8 x 8 inch red brick is purchased, it will replace two red bricks. All bricks orders will be collected and bundled into two purchases each year. The new bricks will be placed into the design near Memorial Day and Veterans Day each year.

A brick can be used to commemorate a special event in someone’s life, honor a friend or family member, recognize and important person or date, memorialize a loved one, share a favorite quote, prayer or scripture. Southside Baptist Church reserves the right to approve all engraved messages and symbols.

Ordering a brick is easy and can be ordered in two ways. Bricks can be purchased at any time in the future by going to the BRICKSRUS website at www.bricksrus.com/donorsite/southsidememorialgarden  or by going to www.sbcmooresville.com  and using the brick order link located on the church website.  Using these websites require the purchase to be via credit card. If you want to purchase a brick but are unable to use a credit card, please contact Debby Hager at 704-663-2464 to make arrangements for your purchase.

Bricks can be ordered in two sizes (4x8 and 8x8) and will be red in color. The text will be all capital letters. Bricks can be text only or can include a symbol for an additional $5.00. Large military symbols can only be placed on the 8x8 bricks.

4x8 bricks with up to 3 lines and 18 characters per line are only $50.00. Symbols can be added for an additional $5.00.
8x8 bricks with up to 6 lines and 18 characters per line are only $125.00. Symbols can be added for an additional $5.00

Net proceeds will go into the transportation fund for future purchases and upkeep of church vehicles.
