At Spirit Ride Therapeutic Riding Center, our Mission is to provide children with specific needs the opportunity to learn, grow and strive to become their ideal selves through Equine-Assisted Activities. Therapeutic Riding involves the use of horses to achieve goals that enhance physical, emotional, social, cognitive, behavioral, and educational skills.

Spirit Ride has been serving the community of the High Country since 2014. In that short time, the successes we have witnessed, and the relationships that have developed, have been nothing less than tremendous. Through careful planning, continuous education, and consistent use of proven methods, we have seen children surpass the goals set by their classroom teachers and develop beyond their physician’s expectations. Some of these successes have been immediate, and some have taken months and years of dedicated effort by all. But progress is made – and our clients have come to rely on Spirit Ride for that progress.
