Built in 1915, Ten Mile Chapel was a local beacon that housed a church congregation and held many events. It’s original inception by the German immigrants who built it was to be a meeting place to draw the community together. For many decades families met there for worship, weddings, funerals, and entertainment, among other occasions. It was a place where people could go for acceptance, advice, prayer, and fellowship. That legacy fell by the wayside as people moved away and busy lives took precedence. We have been working hard to restore the derelict building and the community gathering place it was intended to be.
Help us preserve this legacy by honoring its history and helping us rebuild it for future generations.
