As our community grows, so do its needs. We need to build a fire station that is prepared and ready for the growth Valley is expecting, and well past it. We believe that this station will allow our volunteer fire and rescue department to serve the community well for the next 30-40 years.
The new fire station location will increase our bay size to accommodate 13 vehicles, utilize a training tower and large training room, and much more. This will translate to faster response times, better equipment, and better training.
The new Valley Fire Station will be a two story structure totaling approximately 32,000 square feet. The building is planned to be constructed utilizing a steel structural system with a mix of CMU, brick, and metal wall panels for exterior finishes. The new Fire Station will include office spaces, a large training room, locker rooms, a fitness room, a dayroom with kitchen, laundry room, quiet rooms, restrooms, storage spaces, 13 vehicle apparatus bays, an indoor hose drying and training tower, wash bay and a mezzanine.
The purchase of one of these bricks will assist us in getting this project to the finish line!
