Reverend Larry D.
Davis, Jr. - Pastor
Wesley will be celebrating its 20th Anniversary at our current location, 204 Sunset Road, Burlington, NJ 08016. To commemorate this occasion, the church will be hosting brick a fundraiser. The fundraiser will be held from February 2025 and run to October of 2025. We are inviting friends, businesses and families to purchase personalized bricks at the cost of $100 each. The bricks will be the center piece of the church’s new commemorative area. This is an excellent opportunity to show your love of the church and become a physical part of the church’s history.
About Wesley:
Wesley has been a permanent part of Burlington County since our founding in 1845. It was founded by a group of African-American citizens living in a section of what is now Westampton called Timbuctoo. Wesley is among the oldest African-American churches in Burlington County.
Over the decades, Wesley has provided spiritual and social oriented services to the community. Each year the Missionaries organize and distribute complete Thanksgiving Day meals. The Missionaries have adopted the W.R. James Elementary School and ensures the school receives school supplies and gift cards. The Women of Wesley (W.O.W.) has supported and donated clothing, supplies and gift cards to various women’s organizations. The Men’s Ministry is active providing resources to the homeless through its “100 Bags for 100 Souls” campaign.
