As you know, Bay Haven Charter Academy is publicly funded and privately managed. With this ability to privately manage, the school receives less federal and state funding per student than regular public schools. So, we need to get creative in how we supplement this lack of funding, that is where the paver program comes in.

Fundraisers, such as the paver program, will allow us to raise money for some much needed technological equipment. Ask yourself, how important is technology in today’s society? The answer is simple. Technology is the future and Bay Haven needs new equipment to keep up with the ever changing technological advances to help our students remain one of the top charter schools in Florida. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to meet this technology need from Kindergarten to eighth grade. What pavers are being sold? The first is an 8” x 8” ivory paver which will be used around the flagpole area until the limited numbers of available spaces are filled. The second is a 4” x 8” red paver which will be used to cover the ground from classroom doors out towards the walkways. Placing pavers from the classroom doors to the walkways will accomplish two things. It will raise money for our needed technology equipment and will lessen the amount of sand tracked into the classroom. When purchasing a brick, you can also order a second, duplicate brick, at a lower price, which comes with a felt backing and stand that can be displayed in your home or business.
