In 2009, fields operated by Bellaire Little League were repurposed to accommodate the construction of a new school building. In 2011, in a partnership between HISD, Horn Academy, the city of Bellaire and Bellaire Little League, plans were formulated to construct a state-of-the-art athletic facility to bring Little League baseball to the property adjacent the new Horn Academy.

Our plan will create three baseball fields and related amenities including permanent restrooms and storage, covered bleachers, electronic score boards, energy efficient, computer-controlled directional lighting and batting cages. When completed, this facility will house Bellaire Little League programs, and will be available to Horn Academy and the public for use at other times. The fields will open in the Fall of 2012.

 

Bellaire Little League is seeking support from individuals and businesses to help fund the $750,000 project. Commemorative pavers are available for purchase for individuals and families to become a part of our permanent Walk of Fame at the entrance of the new facility.
