In the fall of 2012, the volunteers of
Cascade Locks Fire & EMS will be breaking ground on a fallen
firefighter memorial garden. Included in this garden will be a
brick paver pad that will be home to a restored hose real that
was used to fight fire in the early 1900’s. That brick pad will
be made up of engraved bricks donated by generous contributors.
You have an
extraordinary opportunity to purchase and engrave a brick,
contributing to Cascade Locks Fire & EMS Fallen Firefighter
Memorial Garden. The names,
dedications and words you choose to engrave on your tile will
become part of the Cascade Locks Fire & EMS legacy for
generations to come.
You have the option of purchasing
either a 4X8 brick, containing 3 lines with 18 characters on
each line, or an 8X8 brick, containing 5 lines with 18
characters on each line.
Please feel free to email any questions you may have to Megan
Webb at
firefighterwebb@yahoo.com.
Also,
please note that we cannot guarantee that bricks will be placed
in any particular order. However, if you do have a special
request, please let us know and we will accommodate you as best
as we can.
