Community
Foundation of Acadiana is building philanthropy in Acadiana, one
brick at a time.
The future home (and
the land it
sits
on) of Community Foundation of Acadiana is being donated through
the generosity of Rodney and Cindi Savoy, and they, along with
the Foundation, hope that the community embraces the beautiful
building as a home for philanthropy in Acadiana.
To show your support for CFA, those who support philanthropy and
believe in its power to transform Acadiana are asked to help
institutionalize our efforts. Philanthropy is one of the most
important steps in building the best Acadiana we can envision.
You can show
your
commitment to the community by purchasing a brick to be placed
in the courtyard at the new building. The courtyard is prominent
as people enter the building, and you will be identified as
someone who supports the Foundation and the community.
Bricks are $150 for a four by eight inch brick, $250 for an
eight by eight inch brick. The 4x8 brick will have space for
three lines, eighteen characters per line and the 8x8 brick will
have space for six lines, 18 characters per line.
You may purchase a brick in honor or in memory of a loved one.
In addition, those who purchase bricks will become a Friend of
the Community for one year. For more information about the
Foundation's Friends of the Community program, visit:
www.cfacadiana.org/friends.
The net proceeds from all brick sales will go into a permanently
endowed fund for the maintenance and operations of the home for
Community Foundation of Acadiana.
