Greater Bethel AME located in Overtown, Miami, Florida invites you to become a part of its Legacy. We are pleased to announce a once in a lifetime opportunity to have you as a name forever engraved in our renovated walkway with your Legacy Brick. This will link your past to our future.

This walkway is the entrance to this Historic church built in 1927. Greater Bethel AME in Overtown, Miami, Florida was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on April 17, 1992. The church will approach its 120^th Anniversary in 2016. Your Legacy Brick will be placed in the ground in the Monumental entrance of the church. Your message will be for all to see when visiting our church for years to come.

The architectural design has designated 1,569 brick to complete this walkway. Your 4x8 brick will contain 3 lines with 18 characters. Your gift of $200 is all it takes to receive this special recognition.

You can contribute to your Legacy with your name, a loved one, favorite quote, special event (wedding anniversary, graduation, birth of a child, etc.). The choice of inscription is yours.

Your payment can be done in various ways:

a.     One time complete payment - $200

b.    Administrative fee - $10 per order

c.     Various payment amounts not to exceed 3 years.

You will be presented a certificate upon completion of payment of your Legacy Brick. This certificate will indicate your bricks inscription and placement in the Legacy walkway, if available.

The proceeds from all brick sales will go into an endowed fund to make other needed repairs to this Historic church. Our primary focus will be the electrical system.
