Building Our Future………………...One Brick at a Time

 

To celebrate the completion of our 50th Habitat home in 2011, Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County is continuing the Brick Campaign to raise money to build safe, affordable homes for low-income families in Montgomery County.

Habitat provides a hand up, not a hand out. Our homeownership programs provide opportunities for low-income families to increase independence and economic sufficiency through homeownership and educational opportunities. Habitat families work hard for their homes, contributing up to 300 hours of sweat equity and paying a zero-interest, 30-year mortgage.

The engraved bricks will be used to create new entranceways and landscaping for the Affiliate Office and the ReStore as well as a “neighborhood” mural inside the main office in West Norriton.
