Heart of
Aloha Church is a non-denominational church located on
the Island of Molokai, one of the Islands in the
Hawaiian chain, that currently meets at the Lanikeha
Community Center in Hoolehua.
The church is led by
Senior Pastor Cameron Hiro and first lady Jacque Hiro
since year 2009 till current.
Their mission includes
“Honoring God by Living Aloha”. For more information
about the church please visit www.heartofaloha.org.
They are currently raising funds to build a Multipurpose
Bamboo Pavilion on their 4 acre parcel in Kualapuu and
are looking for your help. The Pavilion will be used to
hold weekly church services and activities, a central
hub for community outreach events, a space to hold
private meetings, retreats and other cultural activities
including dance, music and the arts as it relates to
their vision.
You can help by partnering with
them by participating in their “Brick Fundraising
Campaign”.
You are invited to buy a
brick, either for you, someone else, your family,
organization or business, to commemorate a special
occasion or to honor a loved one.
The bricks
will be used in the walkways
that lead to the Pavilion. Each brick will be inscribed to your
specifications and located at random.
The
net proceeds from sales will be used towards part of the
building project.
Just think, what a way to be
remembered, you will be able to leave a permanent legacy
in the walkways for generations to come and enjoy!
The cost is $180 for a 4x8
inch brick, $360 for an 8x8 inch brick or 12x12 inch
brick for $720. The 4x8 brick can hold up to three lines
with 18 characters, including spaces, per line. The 8x8
brick has room for up to six lines with 18 characters,
including spaces, per line. The 12x12 brick can hold up
to 10 lines with 23 characters, including spaces, per
line. All engraving will be in capitals.
