Hello my name is Nick McMillan. I am 16 years old and I
am working on earning my Eagle Scout rank. I am in Boy
Scout Troop 2 located in Helena, Alabama. My Eagle Scout
Project is to further the development of the existing
Pelham Memorial Park located in Pelham, AL.The Pelham Memorial Park is located behind Pelham
City Hall and beside the Pelham #1 Fire Station.My project is to build memorial brick pads for
the existing benches, located in the park, to be placed
onplus a sidewalk
connecting City Hall to the Fire Station.This sidewalk will include memorial bricks being
placed within it.
The project will also have a concrete pad poured
for an Open Air pavilion to be erected.
I will be
selling 4” x 8” Bricks which will be incorporated in the
brick pads and in the sidewalk. On the brick, you will
have 3 lines to honor or memorialize someone special to
you.
Example is: 1st line- In Honor of or In
Memory of, 2nd line- the person’s name, 3rd
line can be Mother, Father, Loved One, Fire Fighter,
Police Officer, Military branch, School Teacher, Friend,
etc. I
would like for you to show your support for Pelham and
people who you would like to honor by purchasing a brick
with their name on it.
