Courage Pride Brick Campaign
In May 2006, the Play365 Campaign kicked
off to bring the first synthetic turf field to Howison Park.
Six years later, it’s time to finish the park off by
building the third synthetic turf field on Howison Park #1.
Three synthetic turf fields, a permanent restroom
facility and a new playground will make Howison Park one of the
finest all soccer facilities in the country.
We need your help to make it happen!!
With that spirit, we announce the Courage
Pride Brick Campaign that will finish what was started six
years ago.
Show your Courage Pride and leave a lasting legacy by
helping us
complete Howison Park. Commemorate
that special event in someone's life, honor a friend or family
member, or memorialize someone special.
How are we investing the proceeds?
Proceeds from the drive will go toward paying for the upcoming
synthetic turf installation on Howison #1, its fencing and
netting system, and the equipment required for the field.
Pick it, engrave it, ship it.
Determine the brick size, and provide engraving instructions. A
standard 4x8 brick gives three engraved lines and up to 18
characters per line. Donor
bricks for your home or office are also available. The cost is
“all-in”, meaning there are no additional state taxes or
shipping/handling fees incurred.
This is how it works.
1. Complete
the online form below (indicate engraving instructions,
recommended to use all upper case).
2. Pay
by Credit Card or
Mail your payment in the form of a check to the address
provided.
3. Once
received, your check will be cashed within 5-10 business days.
This allows us to batch orders.
4. A
purchase confirmation is sent to the email you provide. This
will be your only confirmation.
5. Bricks
are shipped within 3-4 weeks to the Courage Clubhouse.

8x8 Brick: $250
Note: Donor bricks ($50), which can be displayed at your home or
office, are a perfect holiday gift, for grandparents, or
children. We will
personally deliver the Donor bricks to your home address upon
arrival (allow 3-4 weeks).
Watch for additional information by September, 2012 on our plans
for installation.
Keep in mind.
Keep it clean. The
bricks may get dirty over time, but that doesn’t have to apply
to the engraved language you use! All
orders are reviewed for appropriateness.
Keep your confirmation. Make
sure to keep the order confirmation you receive. Engraved
bricks will be kept in a secure location, stacked and ready to
go for installation in the fall 2012.
Keep it visible. Help
keep Finish Howison Park brick drive alive in the coming
months! Having an
engraved brick is a permanent stamp and a wonderful memory for
you, your family, neighbors and local business owners.
Contests:
Individual (Open to all Prince William Courage Members):
The individual who sells the most bricks will win an
IPAD. Contest will
be open until August 31st.
Team (Select Teams):
The team that sells the most bricks will win an
additional tournament paid for by the club.
Contest will be open until August 31st.
Team (Recreational):
The Recreational team that sells the most bricks will win
tickets to a DC United game.
Contest will be open until August 31st.
