The Ringling Community Foundation 501c3
Non-profit was formed in the summer of 2009 for park and city
beautification. We are currently hosting a brick drive to raise
funds to continue improving our Ringling Community Park. In June
of 2009, we received a grant from the Jenny Jones Foundation
which was utilized to start our project of updating and current
city park. New playground equipment, benches, trash receptacles,
and grills have been installed. A new pavilion is currently
under construction for shade and old, unsafe equipment was
removed.
Our current goal is to
build a pathway for walking and a splash pad for kids to cool
down on hot, Oklahoma summer days. We are currently raising
funds with a Bricks 'R Us brick campaign. We are selling 2
different sized bricks with up to 3 lines of engraving , as well
as donor bricks to present to a person or business. We also have
donor certificates available for gift giving!
What better to give than
a brick donated to the local park this Christmas? How about
birthdays, graduation, or why not honor your loved one or a
veteran with a donated brick? This is the perfect gift giving
idea for the person who has everything or that hard to buy for
person! This brick will stand the test of time and be in our
park for many years to come while generations of children play
in a safe haven! What is better, is that we have tried very hard
to keep the cost down so that even in tough economic times
people can continue to support a local cause. Thank you for your
donation, it will make a world of difference to a child!
