RITCHIE COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY
Help Pave the Way – the Ritchie County Humane Society suffered a
devastating fire early on the snowy morning of January 13,
2010. The fire destroyed our cat/kitten and small dog shelter
building resulting in the loss of over 50 cats and 13
dogs/puppies, almost all of our supplies and our operational
equipment.
We are raising money to rebuild our shelter and provide for
ongoing operational expenses - you can help! The purchase of a
brick (or bricks) or an engraved bench can commemorate a loved
one, a special pet, honor a friend or anyone or anything special
– even an anniversary. Bricks are finished and are Rustic Red
in color. Engraving is Comic Sans font with black paint filled
in engraved area. Your donation will be tax-deductible.
Cats, kittens, small dogs and puppies are currently being housed
in temporary quarters in the Shelter Manager's storage room and
office/conference room area until we can rebuild.
With these bricks, we will pave a sidewalk and a memorial
pavilion where the remains of our lost furry friends will be
interred. Bricks will be placed on a sand base and have a
lifetime warranty.
For a gift of $50:
Priority Placement in the pavilion: 4 x 8 Brick
(Symbol

For a gift of $35:
Placement in the sidewalk: 4 x 8 Brick
(Symbol

For a gift of $90:
Priority Placement in the pavilion: 8 x 8 Brick (Symbol would go
on line 1 plus 5 lines of text – 18 characters per line or 6
lines of text with no symbol)
For a gift of $65:
Placement in the sidewalk 8 x 8 Brick (Symbol would go on line 1
plus 5 lines of text – 18 characters per line or 6 lines of text
with no symbol)
If you would like a 4" x 8" Donor brick which would be felt
backed and sent to you with a display frame, one can be
purchased for a gift of $35. The 8 x 8 donor brick is available
for $50 and a Corporate Donor brick for $150.
Corporate sponsors may have their logo engraved on the 8 x 8
brick with Priority Placement in the Pavilion for $250 (3 lines
of text – 18 characters per line)
An engraved bench is available for $750 with Priority Placement
in the Pavilion (Symbol would go on line 1 plus 5 lines of text

35 characters per line)
A symbol may be engraved on each brick for an additional fee of
$10. We have available a Dog paw print, a Cat, a Cat paw print,
Handprints, or an Angel.
