STAUNTON HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIAL FUND RAISER

 We invite all those with a link to the former Staunton High School and the community it supported to contribute to the enhancement of the Memorial to the former high school and its students, parents, teachers, administrators, support personnel and the Staunton Yellow Jacket Community.  The planned Memorial will include one or more areas of brick pavers, additional landscape plantings, and new signage to identify the Memorial.  With the purchase of a personalized, engraved Memorial Brick your support will be permanently etched in a brick paver that will be an integral part of the Memorial.  The bricks can also be used to honor a parent or former teacher, coach, classmate, graduating class, organization, employee or other individual that supported Staunton High School.  The bricks can be engraved with names, graduating class, or any short phrase that is meaningful to the donor.  While the engraved bricks are the source of funding for this project, they represent much more.  They are a key part of the Memorial itself.  The names engraved in the bricks represent and honor those who are a part of the history of the Staunton High School Community as well as those who care enough to support this effort to memorialize that history.

The engraved bricks are available for purchase in either a Natural Grey or Red color.  The engraved bricks will be integrated into a brick paver area containing blank (not engraved) Red bricks.  While the donor may select either Red or Natural Grey, the Natural Grey engraved brick will appear more prominent among the blank Red bricks in the overall pattern.  

Engraved bricks are available in 3 sizes as follows:

1) 4x8 brick:  3 lines of up to 20 characters per line for a donation of $40.00

2) 8x8 brick: 6 lines of up to 20 characters per line for a donation of $75.00

3) 12x12 brick: 10 lines of up to 23 characters per line for a donation of $100.00

As an additional option, for a contribution of $20.00 or more per donor the donor’s name will be engraved onto a brick along with other donors who chose this option.  There may be up to 10 names per 12x12 brick, 6 names per 8x8 brick, or 3 names per 4x8 brick to accommodate this option.
