Sigma
Chapter
is celebrating 100 years of Crowning Achievements at Baker
University! The chapter is working hard in preparation for all
of the festivities this spring, but WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The chapter would like to give a commemorative gift to the
University in honor of our 100 years at Baker, by placing a ZTA
sidewalk on campus. As many alumnae will remember, chapter
members currently have to walk through the grass to access
campus. By installing a sidewalk in the location off of 8th
and Elm next to Owens Musical Arts Building, both chapter
members and members of Baldwin community will have access to a
handicap assessable ramp and a walkway leading directly onto
campus from the street.
The ramp will be made up of, in part,
personalized bricks that can be purchased by a Sigma chapter
member or alumna, or in honor of one, for $75.00. The brick will
have two lines of text that the purchaser may choose (we suggest
the Sigma member’s name on the first line and her initiation
year on the second line). New member classes throughout our 100
year history may also consider purchasing a commemorative brick
honoring your class. Additionally, consider purchasing a brick
in honor or in memory of a Sigma member. The cost of the brick
will include production and installation of your brick as well
as a portion of the Centennial logo that will be prominently
displayed at the beginning of the sidewalk. This will forever
honor Zeta Tau Alpha’s history at Baker University. Your brick
can become a part of that history. Make a lasting mark on
Baker’s campus, support your Zeta Tau Alpha sisterhood, and help
us celebrate our 100 year anniversary by purchasing a brick for
this special occasion.
Bricks may be customized through this site.
