“Brick by Brick”

St. Patrick’s Historic Catholic Church, founded in 1851, invites the entire community to become a permanent part of our new Peace Park by purchasing a commemorative brick(s) or bench for the first phase of our Building Community ‘Brick by Brick’ Project.

The first phase of the project will involve placing bricks around the Peace Pole, and will include one bench to the left of the entrance stairs. Phase two will be the placement of bricks, and three more benches, in the area to the right of the entrance stairs. Both areas will become the new St. Patrick’s Historic Church Peace Park.  

This park will be for everyone in our community to enjoy. Parishioners who like to gather after church, residents and visitors may sit and meditate. Employees from the downtown area may enjoy their afternoon lunch in the park.

Engraved on your custom brick(s) could be your family, relative, friend or pet’s name, or you could choose to engrave a brick(s) in honor of someone else very special; an organization, favorite teacher, or your business name. 

Customized bricks are available in two sizes 4 x 8 or 8 x 8. There is also an opportunity to purchase one of four metal benches that may be engraved with an inscription of your choice. Orders for the first phase of this project should be in no later than October 31, 2012. Donations for this project are tax-deductible. Please call 209-586-1070 with any questions.
