Dear Members and Friends of Tabernacle
Baptist Church,
Within the 110 year history of Tabernacle Baptist Church you may
have attended worship, participated in ministry or offered a
donation of your time, finances, or prayers to our church.
Your gifts over the years have helped Tabernacle minister the
Gospel to countless numbers of people.
This season is one of restoration for Tabernacle. Through the
Nehemiah Project, we are seeking to not only repair but beautify
our church infrastructure to ensure that Tabernacle can continue
our mission in Christ for years to come!
Part of this project includes repairs to the church roof and
front steps already in progress. Additionally, the goal is
to replace the front walk and complete additional enhancements
to the front edifice. We would like to complete this work
through the generosity of all Tabernacle friends, family and
members. By making a contribution of $150 or more to this
beautification project you can order a customized engraved brick
which will be used to finish the front entry renovation
project. By adding your name or the name of a loved one on the
brick you will have a lasting place in the Tabernacle's living
history.
Within the last two years, Tabernacle Baptist Church has
installed a new Minister and welcomed a new First Lady and
child. In a season of renewed growth and excitement,
Tabernacle continues to offer various forms of ministry, and
this summer hosted the Mahoning Valley's first Children's
Defense Summer Freedom School. In September, the portion of
Arlington Street in front of Tabernacle was officially renamed
“Tabernacle Boulevard”. Though we have accomplished much,
there is still much to do.
In the Biblical book of Nehemiah, the people said, “Let
us rise up and build.” You can
partner in celebrating both the history and future of Tabernacle
by adding your name to the lasting legacy of Tabernacle as we
seek to rise up and build to the glory of GOD!
