To our fellow members of The Church of God of the Union Assembly,

Greetings church family.

Our local church here in Newport, TN is doing an exciting and inspirational fundraiser!  There are many projects that we hope to see completed but we’d like to start by repaving around our flagpole and sidewalk.  Our flagpole was erected a few years ago to display our US flag and the Christian flag in honor of all the soldiers, natural and spiritual, who have served our country and our souls so faithfully.

We would love to open up the opportunity for Assembly Members to sponsor bricks to further make this place of honor even more special. You may purchase a 4x8 brick for $100 or an 8x8 brick for $200 with your name, or other inscription, engraved in the brick which will be placed in the sidewalk area around our flagpole. Our goal is to complete the project by Veteran’s day of this year and hold a special service to commemorate the occasion.

We will also have a booth set up at our Annual Assembly Meeting in Dalton, GA if you wish to donate there or have further questions.  We will keep you updated on our progress and let you know when we have met our goal.  Lord willing, we trust He will not only meet, but exceed our need.  God bless you all in your giving.
