Located just two miles from West Point's Thayer Gate in the beautiful Hudson Valley, The Garrison House boasts a New York State Landmark plaque with a connection to Revolutionary War Patriots Isaac Garrison and Captain Molly Corbin.

The original home was built in 1751, before the Revolutionary War by Isaac Garrison, 2^nd Lieutenant, Cornwall Regiment who fought and was captured at the Battle of Fort Montgomery. Molly Corbin, the first woman to receive a pension for wartime service lived here as a boarder for a time while stationed with the Invalid Regiment at West Point which is also her final resting place.
