Thorndyke families and neighbors who frequent the playground may have noticed that the brick pathway was recently dismantled and removed from its location between the play structure and picnic tables. The bricks, which were laid several years ago during playground renovation, were coming loose and creating a dangerous situation underfoot. We are happy to report that the PTG is moving forward with plans to relocate the bricks and to cement them safely into a level area.

 

We invite you to be part of the evolution of Thorndyke’s backyard by purchasing an engraved brick that will be integrated into our playground area. Your purchase will not only contribute to playground maintenance efforts but also allow you to leave your mark in a lasting way on Thorndyke Road School. Whether you are an alum, a family with enrolled students, a neighbor or a company invested in the health and well-being of the surrounding community, please help us pave the way toward a safer space for all our children!
