The Town of Catawba Veterans
Garden of Honor will be a permanent commemorative
tribute to our men and women who have served our great
country.
The walkway leading to the Veterans Garden of Honor will
be lined with engraved bricks purchased by supporters
and donors of the project.
You are
invited to
purchase a 4x8 brick ($100) or
an 8x8 brick ($275) as a memorial or honorarium.
Since
Veterans with ties to Catawba will have their names and
service information engraved on the granite wall please
consider:
Honoring your
company, battalion, or regiment
Remember a
loved one
Express
gratitude to a comrade or sister
Convey
appreciation to a family member
Recognize
an important time in your life
Set your
own name in stone
Whatever your reason, leave a
permanent testament to your support of the Veterans
Garden of Honor by purchasing your personalized brick.
Profits from the fundraiser will go directly to the Town
of Catawba Veterans Garden of Honor building fund, and
to future maintenance needs for the garden.
Lasting words from late American
Historian, Stephen E. Ambrose, "The American citizen
soldiers knew the difference between right and wrong,
and they didn't want to live in a world in which wrong
prevailed. So they fought, and won, and we all of us,
living and yet to be born, must be forever profoundly
grateful."
Thank you for your
support,
