PAVING THE WAY
For
"Our Walk to Victory"
Preserving
W. L. Bonner College’s Future
The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic
Faith, Inc., Established 1919
There are two very important dates in Church history,
which makes us grateful for our heritage. In 1919,
Bishop Robert Clarence Lawson founded The Church of Our
Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. Bishop
Lawson envisioned an accredited Bible College to train
pastors, missionaries, evangelists, teachers, and those
involved in church ministries. In 1995, Chief
Apostle/Dr. William Lee Bonner established the W. L.
Bonner College, bringing into fruition the dream of his
Father in the Gospel (Bishop Robert C. Lawson).
Please join leaders of COOLJC and WLBC, in
preserving our
past, celebrating our
present,
while envisioning our
future! The
Committee for the W L Bonner Memorial Walk Way will pay
tribute to founding leaders and pioneers of W. L. Bonner
College (WLBC), as well as The Church of Our Lord Jesus
Christ (COOLJC), by erecting a monument in their honor.
The Memorial Walk Way will be displayed, connecting the
current COOLJC denominational wall and W. L. Bonner
College.
You may become a partner in preserving the future of the
college by purchasing a recognition brick in honor of a
family member, congregation, business, or alumnus.
Wherever your pursuits may take you, you can always be a
part of W. L. Bonner College. By purchasing one or
more bricks, you will assist in preserving the future of
WLBC and building upon the infrastructure for growth and
expansion.
Proceeds from this initiative will be used for an
institutional endowment (50%), the Presidential
Scholarship (25%), and operational expenses (25%). The
bricks will have your information sandblasted, then
filled with a special paint.
This initiative will be completed in two phases. All
bricks for Phase I must be purchased by May 10, 2017.
There will be an unveiling of the "Mock Memorial Walk
Way", Wednesday, May 25, 2017, at 6:00 PM. We only have
a limited amount of space and bricks available for each
phase, so please do not allow this opportunity to pass
you by!
